Photographs for Good :) Spotlight: The Wreath

The WreathThe Wreath

I shot the Wreath on Christmas Eve 2011. We were clearly having a bit of snow and being Christmas Eve, not a creature was stirring. I set up the camera and shot a couple of times. Although you argue that the streetlight itself is a bit of a distraction, I thought it looked almost star like.
The Wreath is part of the Photographs for Good 🙂 Collection, and with your purchase of either an 8×10" or  11×14" signed print, 75% of the proceeds will go to Hurricane Relief for those on the east coast effected by Sandy.

Photographs for Good :) Spotlight: The Barns at Troy

The Barns at Troy
The Barns of Troy

I shot The Barns at Troy in 2010, on my way home from visiting a friend in Troy, Maine. The sun was setting (about 3:30pm, that happens here) and I could see right away what it would look like. Still the sun was setting…FAST and it needed to be done fairly quickly but I think it came out very nicely.

Winter Speaks Print Folio Spotlight: Tree Hugger

Tree HuggerTree Hugger

I shot Tree Hugger during a storm last winter. I was having a great time shooting for the Winter Speaks collection but I was getting ready to finish for the day. It was very cold and my fingers were getting a little stiff. I was packing up and I happened to look in another direction and there it was…

It happens that way some times.

Tree Hugger is part of the Winter Speaks collection. I have made a few of the images part of a special prints folio that I have made available for purchase. They come printed on Kodak Endura archival paper with archival standard inks.

Folios are numbered by printing edition. I sign the title page and hand-number the colophon.

They are wrapped in tissue and enclosed in an archival quality box.

Photographs for Good :) Spotlight: Lobster Tree

Lobster Tree

I shot Lobster Tree after a big February storm. I was driving and came across it at the home of a local Lobsterman. It looked like a Christmas Tree I thought.
